Why did the Belga News Agency launch the Belga PressAgenda?
For years, Belga News Agency editors have been receiving dozens of invitations for press conferences, openings, etc. every day by e-mail. On this basis, Belga News Agency determines its own agenda every evening, listing all events of interest to the press. This agenda allows to plan the work of Belga's own journalists, photographers and correspondents. From this experience, Belga decided to expand this agenda and make it available online via platforms such as BelgaBox, BelgaNews, BelgaGov and Belga.press.
What is Belga PressAgenda?
Belga PressAgenda is an up-to-date, extensive professional press agenda that provides an overview of all national press conferences, press meetings, events, trade shows, openings, colloquiums, performances, demonstrations and activities: economics, politics, legal, general, European and sports. The agenda is put together with the utmost accuracy, based on reliable sources.

Which events can I place on Belga PressAgenda?
All events to which the press is invited and that interest them: press conferences, performances of financial results, conferences, openings, press trips, product launches, seminars, colloquiums, trade shows, exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, etc. from all sectors or fields (economics, politics, legal, culture, sport, etc.)
How can I know whether my event is in Belga PressAgenda?
Only if you have a PRpro subscription can you consult the press agenda. Contact us at [email protected] for more info/rates.
What is the best time to place my event on Belga PressAgenda?
When you have an answer to the “5 W’s: When?, What?, Where?, Who? and Why?”, you have the basic requirements to input an event in the agenda. You can also make your information known well beforehand. When the media has been informed in a timely manner, they can plan your event in their agenda, which increases your chance of press interest. At the same time you also reduce the risk that sector colleagues or competitors will organise something on the same day. You event is then noted on the Belga PressAgenda, which is consulted by others when they make their planning.
